PELJEŠAC

Pelješac peninsula is with the Istrian peninsula, the largest on the Adriatic coast. From the Ston isthmus to the cape Hunting Areas in the north-west, the peninsula is 65 km long.
Bigger places are: Ston, Brijesta Trpanj, Viganj, Orebić. The inhabitants are mostly engaged in tourism, wine-growing - producing of Dingach red wine, wine cellars in Potomje and Ston, and cattle breeding and fishing.

There are the well-known salt pans, and shellfish farming is also popular. Pelješac owes its charm both churches and noble villas, as well as its superb red wines, Dingach and postup.
